Care instructions:
There is a variety of ways to care for your beeswax wraps depending if it is for general care or to refresh the shape of the beeswax.
A) How to clean the beeswax wraps
If there is food residue on the beeswax wrap:
• hand wash in warm or cold soapy water
• rinse it off
• let it dry
B) How to refresh the beeswax wraps
When the beeswax wrap becomes tired looking and wrinkly, it may start to lose its ability to wrap the items securely. If so your beeswax wrap may need to be refreshed.
To refresh the beeswax wrap:
• use a hairdryer on medium heat and it will melt the wax.
This will help the beeswax wrap to become straight again.
OR
• put the beeswax in the oven on low heat for a couple of minutes
• then let it cool on a baking tray.
c) How to store the beeswax wraps
Store in a cool dry place in a drawer.
