How do I care for my beeswax wraps?
There is a variety of ways to care for your beeswax wraps depending if it is for general care or to refresh the shape of the beeswax.
A) If there is residue food on the beeswax handwash in cold soapy water and rinse thoroughly with water. Let it dry fully before storing it away.
B) When the beeswax wrap becomes wrinkly and starts to lose its ability to wrap the items securely, your beeswax wrap may need to be refreshed. To refresh the beeswax wrap use a hairdryer on low to medium heat and slowly melt the wax. Melting the beeswax will help the beeswax wrap to become straight again. Alternatively you can put the beeswax in the oven on low heat for a couple of minutes and then let it cool on a baking tray.
